Founded by Friends, Driven by Purpose
FUNDACJA CYBERETYKA was established in 2014 by three close friends who were also fathers. United by a growing concern about the state of safety and the quality of behaviour in the virtual world, they decided that awareness and education were the most effective tools for change.
What began as a personal concern became a structured, growing foundation dedicated to reaching individuals of all ages — from primary school children to grandparents — with practical knowledge about how to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
Over the years, the foundation has continuously developed its programmes to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape of digital threats and to address the real needs of the communities it serves.
From Idea to Impact
Foundation Established
Three fathers and friends registered FUNDACJA CYBERETYKA in Warsaw, driven by a shared concern about online safety for families and young people.
First Educational Programmes
Launch of our first workshops for primary school children and introductory sessions for parents, establishing the foundation's educational model.
Expanding to All Generations
Recognising the need to reach older adults and grandparents, we developed tailored content for seniors navigating digital life for the first time.
Community Partnerships
Partnerships with schools, community centres and local organisations allowed us to significantly broaden our reach across the Warsaw region.
Continuous Programme Development
Ongoing refinement of our curriculum to address emerging threats — from social media risks to cyberbullying, phishing and identity theft — ensuring our work remains current and relevant.
